I bought a Racetronix kit that I've yet to install, as well as a new sending unit. I'm looking to do that over Labor Day weekend. That kit is quite a bit cheaper than a stock pump from most dealers.

Where is the prime connector? Is it in the engine compartment? Is that the PCM in shoebox's pic?

It's on the passenger side of the engine bay near the PCM. It's a single connector coming out of the fuel injection harness that attaches to nothing (has a black connector on it). Rob has a picture of it somewhere on his webpage.

Yeah that damned relay is under the dead pedal, the stupid Haynes and Chiltons had me running around like an idiot for hours. In my case the fuse in the Racetronix wiring had popped! I think my alternator was having a bad day that day or something, I had gone WOT and the car just died.

I wonder how long my stock pump would have lasted? I replaced it with the Racetronix/Walbro combo a few years ago, picked up about 4 psi at idle.

Code 4 means, All good. Yup I replaced it and I can hear it prime, regained all my lost power due to not receiving enough fuel, and my oil pressure went up as well I'm happy
