Ignition "upgrades" are pretty much wasted effort on an LT1 till you go boost or juice.

Yes and yes!

Yes they will work on an LT1 and Yes they are worth the time to install the msd box on an LT1.

The installation won't take long and the 6AL also allows you to use a two step which enables you to improve your reaction time and will also help your et slightly...but definately make your et more consistent.

The improvement is because you sit at line with throttle wide open and car will react better because you can zero the tune in easier.

Since you already own the MSD box it is a no brainer install it.

Good luck

It will not make the car faster but it will help you be more consistent, if you already have it it's worth the time to put it on. The rev limiter is added protection from over revs

lookup MSD "8876" .It's a wiring harness that goes between the stock coil connector and the coil itself and basically makes the ignition box plug and play..All you technically have to wire is the power and ground on the box. You can get the harness for about $30 from jegs and jegs usually ships free.

you might as well get the 8226 coil as well.

Also I only have the coil on my car. I've used the 6al box on carbed cars but can't comment on how it works with the Fbody.
