Default Custom LE cam

Wondering what you guys think about the cam I am about to order.

226/234 565 both sides, 111lsa.

I am building a 353/355/357 with clean up heads and intake I already have. Since the dyno numbers I got at speed inc I've added a lid & FTRA. After the cam and rebuild I am shooting for 370rwhp. ( its 10 bolt/m6=Dyno Queen)

Ive talked with Llyod a few times and this is going to be a tad better on driveability & mpg's compard to the 228/236 565.565 110lsa many people run.

My stock shortblock times were with a very similar CMotorsports grind cam but crappy local shop ported heads that I bought used for cheap.

Made just shy of 350 through a 3200 stalled auto and ran consistant 11.7-11.8s straight off the street with salad shooters on all four corners.

Wasn't the quickest by far, but it held its own for a daily driver.

I have a LE1 cam that is very similiar to that 224/236 110 LSA 550ish lift and with LE1 heads and all the supporting mods I made 360hp/350tq through an M6 and 10 bolt. This was with a base tune and horrible exhaust so im hoping to get around 400hp out of it once I get my setup straightened out.

My Joe Overton spec'd Erson grind is 226/234 .568" on a 111 lsa so I'd say its pretty damn close to my specs and mine is in a 383...Never did dyno well, it was 375 rwhp on a Mustang dyno, but check out the track numbers in my sig...

Id be happy with a 121 trap lol

Does it even chop at idle with all those cubes?

It idles at 900-950 with a nice chop, but not over the top. Everyone that hears it, loves it. Remember that the cam is only part of the entire combination. I worked hard to match the heads, cam, converter, rear gear and tire size to try to maximize my combo. There's also a lot of suspension under the car that has been meticulously dialed in. It still retains a/c, power windows, locks, and even the AIR pump/EGR, and full interior minus the rear seat...raceweight is around 3625...

The track numbers in my sig was with a Vig 3600. Based on the torque peak on my dyno sheet I had the converter re-stalled to 4000, which is about the max I'd recommend for a street worthy n/a LT car...There's 10.90s in the damn thing somewhere in the first 60 feet.

I know you have a great combo that probably took lots of time to get dialed in.

I am going to bump the compression to 11.8.1 also.

Just spoke to Llyod about MPG's, I was shocked. He said it should only be 1-2mpg worse than stock if your not beating the **** out of it.

I thought I was looking at 22-23mpg hiway but if I am only going to lose 2 mpg I would be around 27 in the hiway...
