Nevermind the mess I'm in a complete overhaul at the moment. I'm not completely finished yet. I still need an ashtray cover and some cosmetic touchups on the shifter plate. This is a B&M Pro Rachet. It's for 3 or 4 speed tranny's. I'm running a TH350 but, it would look the same regardless.

ive seen some pics of the b&m hammer shifter in the stock m6 console. Ill try to find some pics of it. I run a B&M quicksilver shifter in my car in a stock A4 console...im not sure if they make it for a A4 tho im running a Th350. Heres a link to a thread with lots of ratchet shifters installed.

I've got a B&M ratchet shifter in my car. Same set-up as SpeedDensityZ's but I didn't cut anything on the console. Just slid it over the shifter. Plus, I have the T handle with the line lock button.

If I wasn't so lazy I'd make a cover for it so you could not see the rust. It's not that noticeable when you're not looking down in it. Make's it look worse because I was straight above it with the camera.

I always though it was disappointing that B&M didn't release a console Megashifter like they did for the 2nd and 3rd gens. I had one in my 83 Z28, that made that car a lot more fun to drive! My first car was a 5 spd. so I found the auto to be boring, that Megashifter made life more interesting, although not enough to not sell it and pick up the 94! Had to row my own again.

I don't know if they make this one anymore but it was made for the 4L60. I think this might be what your looking for.

I ran a B&M mega shifter in my firehawk. If my memory serves me correctly we used a console mega shifter for the 82-92 f bodies. I'll poke around on my other computer tomorrow and see if I can find some pictures and part numbers.

Great looking shifter in your car. How hard was it to get to work? I was thinking of getting one.

Thanks,

Bill
