Default Wiring in Narrow Band air/fuel

i have the guage light ran into headlight switch, and since i have tru-duals i need a 3 way switch right? just wire a signal from both o2 sensors separately? i take the signal from the guage and run it to the center post of 3 way switch, and the other 2 posts go to the signal wires from the o2's right? well i did this and i have no reading... the guage is sittin on rich and i have no reading... and comments, or help is great, i tapped the purple/white stripe wire, and the purple, they are the high signal wires for the o2's..

This sounds like an overall bad idea. Are you trying to narrow in a narrow-band gauge by splicing into the factory O2 wiring? That's a terrific way to mess up the resistance of the O2s.

No. You're going to end up with a fancy light show that is useful for nothing that's going to mess up your short and long term fuel trims.

Your factory O2s and wiring need to remain untouched and unmolested. If you want to look at your a/f ratio, you need a stand-alone wide-band O2 sensor and gauge.

Honestly, you should get your money back for the gauge.
It is basically a glorified toy.

If you want to know your air-fuel, then get a wideband.

You can tap into the pipe directly behind the collector of either header, but be aware that any header leak will have a large effect on the readings. Stay as close to the headers as possible, because heat is imperative to a good reading.
