Glasstek 4" pin on owners come in!
I am in the market to possibly buy one from these guys. I was wondering how the fitment and quality is?
I have looked through all the hood manufacturers that are talked about the most and think ive settled on Glasstek. VFN, Harwood, Glasstek am I missing any? Harwood does not have much in the line for 93-97 and I am not a fan of VFN smooth cowl looks kind of odd to me.
I am mainly looking for input from what my title says, but if you would like to say something about another company I will listen.

The fitment was pretty good on a glasstek hood i bought except for giant dips in the flat areas. The gaps were a little larger around the entire area than what i would have liked but thats what ya get.

rule of thumb with ANY fiberglass parts: always expect them not to fit right, because they almost never do. The upside, however, is unless they are total junk they can usually be made to fit nice with some work. How expensive the work is depends on how much of it you can do yourself.

My 3in fits terrible. Gaps are all uneven and it sticks up in the rear of the hood. Trying to close the hood I feel like I'm going to break it cause it doesn't want to go down all the way. Had to cut up my brackets cause there was nothing else to do to the hood to make it fit better.

Here is my bolt on 4 inch Glasstech. It fits fine IMO. A little high in the rear but only an 1/8 of an inch? I just scuffed it and painted it, so I didnt do any body work other than trim the shipping access off the edges. on the flat parts it does have a small crease if u look hard at it, but on any other color car than black u should see it.

Heres another pic when I just got the hood. If you click on the build thread in my sig, I have tons of pictures of the hood from inside the car and various angles. Start on page 4, thats when I bought the hood.

lol We still get mixed even with my unpainted sunoco hood, you should hear how many calls I get in a week saying they saw me driving down the road when my car hasent even been out all week. But I need the clearance so I have to switch
oh and I will not have him paint it! Although he owe's it to me I'd rather have it look good and painted once. How bout some underside shots?
