Default ls maf on lt?

My tuner said I should wire in a ls MAF to my LT1. He is a great tuner but I've never heard this before. has anyone done it?

you can get like 30 extra horsepower from it since its for an LS1.

LS1 has the same MAF..does he mean the 85mm Z06 MAF?

Either way he's a moron. Best MAF for an LT1 is a stock MAF.

I am curious, did you or can you ask your so called great tuner the reason why, and is it any LS1 MAF or a particular LS MAF, I would like to see that answer, Thanks.

Im building a forged 383 supercharged looking at about 15 psi. he told me I should look into getting a LS6 MAF but its not needed. So im guessing I should stick with my stock one?

The ZO6 MAF get maxed out by a decent heads/cam LT1. I am not sure what benefit there would be to using it on a blower motor that will max it out at a low rpm.
