Wicked project dude - and props for you doing so much work yourself and at home. BEST best about your entire build? - that carpet in your garage! (serious), throw a lazyboy in that garage with a little beer fridge and radio and you're golden
There's actually two recliners, a full-size fridge, XM Sirius surround sound, a flat panel TV, etc. etc. It's a hell of a hangout.

I'll answer for him since he's been so busy about the progress...it's still on hold. Once he gets a few odds and ends together (mostly trans parts like flywheel, dipstick, etc.) then we'll start putting it together. It's still a long ways off, but hopefully it will be ready to fire in the springtime.

Sorry guys, lots going on - moved to PA, new job, traveling a lot for work, planning a wedding, buying a house.......life happens.

Soooooo - Pulled entire wiring harness yesterday, identified all unnecessary wiring. Engine and trans will be in next weekend. More updates/pics ASAP!

That's my dads garage. It's not going anywhere. The car will be right where it is now until it's ready to head to the track.

**PICS ADDED TO FIRST POST**

Engine/trans are in. Fuel lines were pulled for re-routing via -6AN lines. Pulled all wiring in the engine bay back to the firewall - deleted any wires not needed, cleaned up fuse boxes - re-loomed and re-routed all wiring for a crisp, clean look. I will post pictures of that later this week. Enjoy!

Great progress! I really like your roll cage as well. It's nice to see that you took the time to lay it out correctly. There are SO many ghetto rollbars/cages in 4th gens these days. Very nice work

Thanks, Jason. It does take much time and effort to make the cage right (especially in a convertible). Tom Snyder of Snyder Fabrication in West Chester, PA did all of the work and I couldn't be happier. I need to add a shout-out and link to his page on my OP!

Gentlemen, patience is a virtue. We are moving along full speed right now. I'm spending several hours each night making progress.

I took pictures last night and will post them after work today. To summarize:

-Removed the entire chassis wiring harness - replaced with a Painless setup and a Painless 8-rocker switch panel. Rewiring the entire car with that now.

-Dash is back in the car.

-Seat, steering column mounted and ready to go. Carpet will go back in once wiring is finished.

-Billet Specialties wheels, M/T Drag Radials, and a package of goodies from Madman will all arrive tomorrow.

-Car will go back to Snyder Fabrication for final chassis prep and some tweaks on February 15th. I expect to have it at the track after a PCMforless Dyno Tune in APRIL!

Check back tonight for pics.............
