Default Lt1 383 strocker 88 iroc

im thinking about buying a lt1 383 stroker with an 8quart oil pan for my 88 iroc. i guess my concern would be that the oil pan will not fit. i would really appreciate some feedback.

Why on earth do you need an 8-quart oil pan?

I'm wondering if I could change it to a 7 or 5 quart. I heard strokers need a bigger oil pan, would I be fine with a 5 or 7 quart?

I don't know a whole lot about 88 IROC cars, but if you get too crazy with the size of your oil pan you'll end up rubbing on your steering rack or your front sway bar. Especially if your motor mounts are old and are sagging a bit.

Where do they sell these strocker motors. Is that a new company, strocker?
