well my uncle has a beautiful 2004 le mans edition vette, and against his better judgement, he lets me borrow it from time to time, and im not gonna lie, its an amazing car, its just not MY car ya know, i dont think anything will really compare to my first REAL car, the v6 doesnt count lol

o and btw thanks everyone, you have really boosted my confidence. ya'll actually understand why i am the way i am, and i should really get more involved on ls1tech just for that reason lol

maybe i can shed a bit of light here...............

i bought my 95 z28 three years ago........it was a recovered theft car with interior pieces missing scratched and messed up glass..........two blown head gaskets.......a rear end that sounded like it wouldn't even make it home from the place i bought it from.......and a dinged up and dented body with 144000 miles on it..........now.......here she is three years later.........check it out

if you got the budget and the capibility........i say.....GO FOR IT!!!!!!

Three years later its running mid 10's at nearly 130 on all motor and street driving........i say go for it dude!!!!
