Instead of start a new thread I am going to just post this in here since it is semi related.

Well, I have been thinking the past couple of days and I want your guys opinion on this. I have thrown out a couple of options.

1) Stay NA and try to find another set of heads and Cam

2) Find a supercharger kit and pick up some heads and cam next summer

3) Turbo Charge it, I have everything I need except the hot side.

I am going to stay stock bottom end for now. I am really leaning towards turbo charging my car (Of course running no more then 7psi). I have everything I need. I just need the hot side to complete the kit. I was really wanting to stay NA with this car. But Im just not sure right now. With how outta wack my life is right now. Im not sure of anything anymore..lol Car only has 47k easy miles on it. So I am sure she will handle low boost just fine

a turbo would be fun and hell if you already have most the parts then why not?! I've always wondered how somin like the t3/t4 hybrid w/ low boost would behave on stock internals

if i were to do boost think it would be a turbo, unless it was a 6-71 or 8-71 roots blower..

plus a turbo can be easier on drivetrain..

Turbo would be sweet as hell, especially if you have most everything you'd need.

Only problem is finding the hot side. My welder just **** the bed, I also dont want something that looks like **** and was thrown together. I want something that is functional but also looks professional. It would be a single turbo so it would need a cross over from the passenger side to the drivers side.

ruken,
Wow, sorry to hear about that! The only problem with turbo and 7psi is I'm not sure if the stock long block will hold up to that if the tune is not spot on (and I mean spot on). It would only take one hiccup and the motor will be toast. I think I would play it safe and just do another set of heads and cam, plus a little nitrous I think in the long run it will cost you less and perform better over a longer time period on a stock block.

PS: good luck with catching the bastard/s that stole your parts. (hope they get what is coming to them, karma)

I was pretty sure I read someplace that a stock bottom end can handle around 7psi safely. Dont quote me on that, if I was to turbo it. I would read up on as much information as I can about doing so. As far as parts go, I would salvage all the spare turbo parts I have set aside from my Stroked 2.4L 4g63 Laser NASA SU Car
