well if you ordered the off road long tubes then you are going to need an egr block off kit, it is just a couple plates that bolt onto the back of the intake.
you can buy them on summit for like $30 i think

good luck with your new upgrade

to be honest its sortof up to you, i mean if your decent with a wrench and would like to clean that cluttered engine bay up then keep the off road ones.
thats what mine are, but i just like wrenching on **** so the harder it is to do, the better lol

but if you want the somewhat "easier" approach then buy the ones with egr hookup, headers are headers, either way its gonna take some work and patience and a busted knuckle or two haha

i mean deleting egr isnt going to give you a performance increase to my knowledge, and i dont think ur worrying abt pollution too much since ur doing exhaust work to an lt1, its good to have a tune so you can delete those codes though, which gives you a few extra ponies as well in which case i recommend madtuner

You won't lose any power, but you will not gain any power either.

Deleting the AIR and EGR is for cosmetic purposes. It cleans up the engine bay tremendously.

There are several kits available. Do a search for "EGR block-off kit" and you'll get tons (most site vendors carry something, try LS1speed). Several are also available on eBay. To delete the AIR pump, you'll need either an M18 (OBDII) or M22 (OBDI) drain plug and a 5/8" vacuum cap.

Just run the offroad headers (I wish I did, I have plugs in mine and they look stupid).

If you do that you won't need to buy anything as far as AIR pump stuff goes. As far as EGR, something like this:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/93-97...Q5fAccessories

is all you will need.

Uh you just unbolt it from the bracket. Then unbolt the bracket from the block.

There won't be any holes in the headers with the ones you are getting that need to be plugged. You'll need a rubber vacuum cap or two and that's it.

Default pacesetter off road long tubes + y pipe

just get the delete kit from summit that was mentioned earlier, in the end it might end up sounding like this.....http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XClImvvXbNs. I start to get on it at like 20 seconds. Maybe send a video of yours after you finish?

Deleting the AIR and EGR won't change the exhaust note at all. Not sure what you're getting at...
