LT-1 Rods. Difference in years??

All SBC rods from the factory are forged steel. The pink rods were selected rods from the bin and given an extra magnafluxing after the maching if I remember correctly, then dabbed with pink paint.

The LT-1 pink rods have a slimmer beam and a fatter big end.

not all are forged Steel. But Cast Steel You mean right. Big Difference

Nope GM has never put a cast connecting rod in a sbc since 1963.
