Re: LTx Shootout here I come
well...leaving Fri. @ 9 a.m. I'm just very excited
tow rig : thanks to a good friend Ronnie who does my paint work
trailer : thanks to a good friend Chris Sikora a.k.a Z8's or some know him as the guy with a low post count who doesn't know **** about LTx motors
This is a great truck for the long haul with tons of room and plenty of power from a tuned 7.3.
The freshly detailed ( not that it needed it ) 9 sec street car rests inside trailer until Saturday.
I will take some more pics over the weekend and Z8's got a gopro we will use on the car at the race.
hope to see a bunch of you there tomorrow

i would like to say good luck, and be careful to all attending, and hope you guys have fun and are treated well in my home state...
i also would like to add to all you guys going:
all summer i have seen different events being announced and the time for the event comes, and it seems that their have been alot of thefts this year across the country...
when you get to the hotel or wherever your staying, lock up the best you can.. if i remember correct a couple of complete rigs were stolen at holleys hotrod reunion earlier this year... we dont want that to happen.

thats sucks, unless your in an rv ..
so your in chicago and dont get off until 8pm? then you have to go home and get your stuff together then drive to bowling green....
it'll take you atleast 7hrs to get to bowling green.
what time do time trials start? you might get a couple hours of sleep.

Believe me I tried to be ready this year ! 2 engines and it never even left the garage under its own power before the same issue popped up.There has to be an internal crack in the block somewhere that is fine until it goes under load. So...........................Engine #3 is being built now completly new and this one will run the number.
