getting under 3100# raceweight is not as hard as some make it out to be, and if you would rather keep yours over 3200, thats fine with me but i dont want to hear anything about gutted out tincans. my car still has a factory electric trunk pulldown in it.
im somewhere around 3050-3100 at this point, fwiw.
its along the same lines as putting a 30" tire and sissy bars on these n/a cars so they can leave as hard as they want. im on a 275 radial with no bars. but i dont bitch about it and say "some of those n/a cars in the 9's have bars on them. of course they should be a second faster than everyone else"
