Congrats again Larry, wish I could've seen it run a similar number in person while we were in BG...but hey **** happens. Damn opti!
Something tells me he has no intention of replacing the opti....

damn larry that thing hauls. I know my car is a piece cuz it wasn't running but I got some plans for a nice build and spray. Hopefully I can try and be in your guys' league by next year.

well maybe things will work out and we can get that grudge match still
yes it gets driven and the reason I took the TH350 out for a Level 7 FLT 4L60E
thanks
thanks
the car has come a long way since I got it 3 years ago
The rotor simply broke the plastic rivets since I did not rivet it being the new opti keys the pickup. I put a MSD cap/rotor on it now since I knew the opti itself was not the issue. I hope it works out.
thanks and good luck with your car over the winter

as much as I want to do the EFI Conn. setup I do not want to take the car apart

I just figured since you had talked about the EFI connections set-up in the past, you'd go ahead with it if your opti was dead. But hell if all you need is a cap & rotor, I don't blame you at all for sticking with the opti for now.

Ah I see, can rearlly blame you there. I'm tired of taking my junk apart too.

I put a used MSD opti of Carlos's car which worked when removed, but the car had a high rpm miss on my car. I starting to take the car apart Fri after work and put it together yesterday morning. I did not drive it since it was raining. I have not had the car on the dyno since all the little changes, so if it goes well on the street tomorrow I think we will get it on the dyno for some fine tweaking. The track is hopefully sometime this weekend.
GL on the dyno. Hopefully this one holds until the end of the year.

track was not working to well for me yesterday and had issues with traction, but with raising window switch to 3800 and only foot brake to 2000 I managed a tire shaking new best on the 200 shot and drove it back home

I need to sort out a few suspension things and get a new Opti on with riveted stock rotor. I will then hope for some 9.5x @ 140+ in a little better conditions.
