Default Possible to build windage tray in stock oil pan?

Just seeing if any one has built a windage tray in the stock oil pan. I have splayed mains and cannot use stock windage tray and really do not want to fork over 300+ dollars for an aftermarket pan.

Karl Ellwein has a few 'stock windage tray in stock pan' tricks. Check out his work for some ideas:

Just but a Milodon windage tray, they make several styles and they're priced from $30 - $90 bucks and they'll fit in the oilpan.

Kevco oil pans does a lot of that. They install windage trays and crank scrapers pretty reasonable.

I explored this option when I built my stroker engine.

I believe greasymec runs that pan and has no issues with the stock kmember, Also when you call up there he will put the provision in for the oil level sensor for you.

I was going to run this pan, but I couldnt find anyone who was running it at the time, and I wanted to make sure it would fit without an issue. Instead I settled with the canton. I wish I would've went with kevco.

you can just put a washer between the extended stock stud and stock windage tray or buy the Miloden extended studs and do the same thing.
