I was going to suggest a swap! before the cam I was getting 32mpg highway, but only when going 70+. my best record believe it or not was a 482 mile trip w/ an elevation change of +1100ft on one tank of gas going 80 most the way besides for the 100mile stretch I spent on I-495 where I felt safe(cop wise) to go 100-140 (I would slow down for every overpass and lightly accelerate back up to speed staying in 6th the whole way)
also for long trips/commuting air up your tires to the max psi
