i had to BFH that 'bump' for my pacesetters. without BFHing the y would hit and cause ratteling noise. ill try to get a pic later today

i had the same problem with mine, took a hole saw and drilled that piece out and it fit money no rubbing anymore

oh and make sure you reroute the fuel lines, i ran the braided line kit i didnt like how the fuel lines sat right on the headers

yea mine was prety close too, i just wraped the driver side pipe with thermal protection

Just use a hammer and beat the bump out of the way. I had to do it when i put my pacesetters on two years ago. I doesnt take much, just a few hits.

I also cut apart a vette heat shield and put it over the fuel lines.
