Talking Long Tube Headers????

Guy's!!

Please help me out with a few questions

Thanks a lot!!

1-What are the best long tube headers and offroad Y pipe?

2-What is the best bang for the buck on LT's? Saw LT's & OR"Y" for $300

3-I have Edelbrock shorties and they are good but is it worth the headache of pulling out and installing LT's?

4-Whats the process for installing long tubes?

Best bang for the buck is ebay headers or pacesetter, and rip those shorties off asap

I currently have Jet-Hot LT's which I like more than my old Pacesetters but I will never buy a header again that is not stainless. IMO I would get the LPP's since they are stainless, priced well and LPP users seem to like them alot. My old man has Kooks and they are awesome to say the least but when you get can get a very similar header in the LPP and for alot less $$$ they seem to be the way to go.

Installing them is a PITA but worth it. Good time to swap some new plugs and wires in. Hardest part is getting that passenger side header up and in, if you have access to a cherry picker and you are able to lift the motor a couple of inches off the motor mounts life will be alot easier for you.

Here's another question, It looks like headers without the a.i.r. crap seem to be a lot cheaper. I dont have smoog regs where I live so what does it take to remove all the smog crap and run the cheaper headers?

all u gotta do is delete the AIR pump from the ecu and if u want, egr and o2's but personally, i would keep o2's
