Why not weld the gears in the differential together instead of the mini spool? Free.

Both Dodge and Ford have been building "package" cars for Stock Eliminator for the last few years. GM has been marketing the BIW too.

I have 2010 Drag Pak #11.

I also have this.

We are doing a solid rear axle conversion to one this week......

$7829.48

I got it from this link:

http://www.gmpartsdirect.com/results...umber=19243374

This part has me scratching my head:

·Bodies are blemished and should not be expected to arrive in production condition.

·Bodies are not actually white but may arrive in any production color or mix of colors. Choice of color is not an option.

·Bodies will arrive on a wooden pallet.

·Bodies are NOT returnable and will arrive as is, with no warranty

·Bodies may have imperfections
So........they may not be white, and they may require body work.

Would this be considered a SE car since its a production car anyone can buy or do they have to be NA. If not what class would it race in?

THAT would be awesome!! They are being built with LSX, SBC (regular), BBC combos, but I bet yours would be the first and maybe only LT1!!

I finally picked up the backing plates this week. A special thanks goes out to Fergymoto. Thanks, Dan!

Mike, I want one of those Stock Eliminator Mustangs bad, and a V10 Drag Pak, and.......

I am seriously thinking about getting a group of kids together to build an L99 car for Street Stock at the Shootout. What do you all think?

Hell YEAH!!!!

8 months to whip something up, and hook a bunch of future hot-rodders on the LTx platform. You're gonna need a bigger trailer, lol.

I think that is an awesome idea. I wish the rules would have allowed you to swap some parts in that little L99 as long as they were production LT1 parts. I know that you were in charge of the rules, so don't think I'm complaining....I'd just like to see one of those little motors twisting up and making some real steam. I hope to have my 87K mile bolt on SS there, but I wouldn't mind losing to a combo like that. Especially not a group of kids. It's all just about the fun for me. I'm proud of the work you're doing with them.

Getting the rules together for this Street Stock was a tough process. The rules commitee put together four sets of rules that I combined and cleaned-up a little. I then submitted my version to Tony and Kyle. They also added some stuff. If I had total control they would have been much more restrictive.

I'm not sure how the L99 will do, but I think it would be a fun project.

Look for a build thread soon.

I guess this one went down a different path!

9.503 @ 144 mph on it's first full pass. The HP comes from a 389 ci LS7 with an 850 cfm carb.

That's a pretty good hit right thereA

I saw the car last week before it headed south and I could not believe it was the same car. Came out really nice!

I have been working on it. It now has a solid 12-bolt housing in it. I plan to run it in B/SA (Stock Eliminator). But, right now it is on hold, because I just got my COPO certificate from Chevrolet (one of 69!).
