I've looked at this thread like 5 times. I just keep coming back to see this. It's as if the rotor is a Ninja Star.

It always makes me feel better after blowing something up, if I have done it in a spectacular fashion.
You get an A+ for that!!

Sorry, been busy studying for my exam on monday. You guys are cracking me up, and thanks for all the posts. I made it to 6000rpm through first and seccond, while dusting a turbo 300zx. Then it backfired and started sputtering @ like 3500 after I shut it down/started to drive off. It ran like that about 800-1000 feet and then died just as I got it into my neighborhood.

Appreciate the cap and rotor offer, but I put a new Accel on the next day. It made it to 6000 about three times, and the rotor came apart on it too. So, it got a new MSD Opti the day after that (as well as pulled my MSD Digital 6 box) and the car has never run so good. Needs a dyno tune now...

Yes, good news..

I would like to hear anyone else's experience with a 2nd Generation MSD opti... Ive heard some bad stuff, but it all seems to be experiences with the older MSD's. This new one seems gnarly as all hell and I cant imagine it being crap..
