I wonder if those who run at Bandimere should get a "Coming off the Mountain" factor in their DA calculations...

yea i hear ya man.......ive got a little info for you.....we did a cam install on a ls1 a litle while ago it was a TR reverse split cam 227/224 on a full bolt on ls1 with a fast intake and stock 243 heads....car made 391rwhp with an open cutout i forgot the torque........then we did a ls1 auto with a 230/236 it made 378rwhp with a locked converter IIRC..........and my buddy with a 236/242 in a 347 with a locked auto and stock 243's made 408rwhp

hopefully that will give you a bit of help......unfourtanatly all of the lt1 cars ive built have been heads and cam cars....sorry

did you grow up under power lines as a kid or something lol??

Makes sense to me?
The desert people need preferential treatment when correcting ET/MPH with DA. Believe it!

My tiny little stick dynoed 336 with a great tq curve.

Ran 13.1 @ 107 AT 7000 DA OMGZ with a 2.0 60' <------ fail fail fail

Will easily go 12.7 or so if I ever get it to 60 worth a damn on motor.

Car looooves nitrous. Trapped 121 at the same track, same day on the bottle. Could go very low 11's or high 10's with a badass 60 on the bottle.

Of course it does. Damned thing is suffocating up in them thar hills. You give it oxygen rich air and it will love you long time. Don't forget to add your "coming off the mountain" correction factor next time you go down yonder, ya hear?

What an ***! Like i said bro bring your car out here and see what it does.
Its also a shame you have a 396 and only run 8mph and 6-7 tenths faster than my bolt on daily driver......
