Pic after the first drive.

Then after about 5 miles or so of drive time and what not with the new setup i started to get a horrible backfiring condition.. Intake did not seal at all so i pulled the intake.. Then decided to pull the heads on a hunch.. well one piston came up just a bit higher than the others so i decided to just pull the motor again.. Turns out #6 was showing copper.. Damn machine shop didnt recondition my rods correctly.. Anywho to make a long story short i have a friend who works at hke and he gave me a bad *** deal on parts and labor for a forged 355.. so i decided to pull the trigger on it

So i took my heads to classic engine machine and turns out that they were not true.. Had em cleaned up and they came out pretty bad ***.. He re polished them and setup the valve springs and what not..

After that my motor came back a few weeks later

Then this past weekend there was a big push to get more done on it got new tires mounted, engine bay painted, side molding stripped, engine painted, All of the stuff swapped to the tubular kmember, also installed the rear lowering springs. Im hoping to have it all in next weekend. Maybe have it fired up..

Just for ***** and giggles this was the day after i picked the car up.. I decided to celebrate..

Yes the third row is gone and the second row is folded into the floor..

As far as the plans go though.. It will be getting a 200 shot..

What's involved in cruise delete? Does it save any weight or make any sense other then just getting rid of it?

I did it to save weight.. Plus i dont like to use cruise control.. All you do is unbolt the motor and unhook the cables
