are you against using nitrous?

long tubes and "Y" just dump it
slicks, ET streets, or Drag radials
Torque arm, LCA's and relocation brackets
150 shot
4000 stall

Well lt's and y seem to be coming up from gorge
I got the relo brackets already and I am thinking about the torque arm.
Nitrous is on my to do list as well but finding a used kit is gonna be the problem. 4000 stall would be nice and I plan on going with Yank either 3600 or4000.

Im thinking about spending a couple more bucks on the car in the next two weeks. I am in need of rear rotors, rear calipers, rear break pads, lug nuts, fuel lines that connect the hard lines to the tank, some used tires for now, brake lines repair kit since the hard line was cut off, and a couple other things i can't remember right now but i plan on spending no more than 300 in all this hopefully.

Ok guys i was also wondering if it was a good idea to run the stock manifolds open wit no y pipe since i have gotten rid of it. I wont be running it on the street or anything just the usual start up from time to time when testing things. I will be getting some stronger header bolts and will also be looking for some better gaskets unless the stock gaskets are sufficient.

I wouldn't bother with an LS1 brake conversion for a strip only car. Nothing wrong with LT1 brakes and you'd just be killing your budget. Also, if you already have 3.42's and a posi, don't spend a dime on the rearend....just start saving for something stronger.

Ya i will be buyin the stock lt1 brakes for the time being but will still look into upgrading them sometime. Ya 3.42's should be enough and ill save those 400 bucks for a new rear end and hopefully within a year i can get a nice rear end with some 3.73's

lol get the idea out of your head that you want 3.73's. a good friend of mine went with 4.10's and he still daily drove it everywhere. its not a big deal. especially since it will be a "track only" car

you can piece together used parts for a nitrous kit pretty cheap.

also i doubt it will want to run very long if at all with out any 02 sensors. so you might be looking into exhaust very soon.

So 4.10's r the way to go? I would need some help on that one with making my own set up. If all goes well then i should have lt headers and y pipe by this weekend.

Leave the 3.42's and rearend alone for now. Put the headers/ypipe on and just put a bullet muffler on the end for your exhaust. Don't invest into to aftermarket torquearm and suspension until you get the car running and down the track. I ran 11's on motor and 10.80's@125mph with a 150shot with stone stock suspension and 3.42's in the 7.5 10bolt back 5yrs ago so there are better places to spend your money now. Mickey Thompson drag radials are the best mod you can do for traction tehn you remove the front swaybar and add an airbag in the passenger rear spring. Later

Plug everything with the exception of the PCV valve and hose, fuel pressure regulator, and optispark vent hoses (if you have a vented opti of course).
