Looking to move my 3 inch bullet to the rear like a mufflex setup , question is will it kill me ?? I will have a cutout in there for nitrous but im sick of the drone. its just dumped off my pacesetter y.

Its a bolt on car for now,

Longtubes,ORY
CAI, Free mods , ignition system , and 100 shot ( not yet sprayd)

The exhaust gasses cool and loose velocity by the time they get to the axle-back section of the exhaust, so you will probably notice no difference at all other than sound.

You will never be able to tell any difference except for sound

X4. I'm running a blower with 600+ rwhp and a regular 3" catback borla exhaust. You're good to go.

I did the same thing because I was tired of the drone as well. I still have the bullet in the I-pipe too and added one out back. Here is a pic.

Sweet , that how i did it but put the bullet were your second ones at , now i cant tell if its header noise or a exhaust leak , i can only hear it underneath the front of the car . Under the hood it is quiet and i just hear the normal valve train noise . any suggestions guys ??

Pacesetter longtubes , ORY , single 3 inch all the way out. I just reaplaced the 1406 hader gaskets with percy ultra seal . i hope those arent starting to leak. i also have band clamps on all the joints and feel no leaks there .

Get locking header bolts. Percy's Split-Lok or Grade 8 will do you well.

Stage 8's all the way. Yes they are a bit more work but they do the job without fail plus the double hex bolts make it easy to tighten and torque them with a regular or Allen wrench. I have heard that the Percy split lock can freeze and get jammed up.

I had a similar problem on my thirdgen. Even with Stage 8 bolts. Ended up having to take the header to a shop, and have them flatten the flange on it. It was warped in the middle, and on the front edge. Cost about $35 buck to have done, but I haven't had the problem since.
