Dude, that sucks to be you, but how the hell would you have trapped 110mph stock???? Maybe your car already had a cam in it that nobody told you about when you bought your car??? Lol. Doesn't make sense, unless you raced way below sea level and then at the top of mt everest with the cam. I'm going to the track this weekend for the first time with cam and if I trap the same as I did with headers...102, then I'll be pissed!!! But I already know my car is faster.

-800 DA helped. Most people aren't running at 0 DA, let alone -800
Stock cam cars have run mid 11s. So I can see a cam car running that quick. Problem is the mod list seems a little light or parts were left out. Or his weight is on the generous side.
He also said stock head. Not unported stock head. It was never discussed in the thread either. Plenty of people word things certain ways to mislead.

Im thinking Frank also had the 227 in his car and held the cam only record, then switched to that Joe O cam and buried the record deeper. He has been a legend back in the cz28.com days for running that quick and fast.

Oh! I get it. If I add 20 degrees duration I'll go faster, right? So what happens if I add 80? Or do you have to optimize it to the car and it's setup? Now if I optimize more than duration to the car's exact setup could that do even more for performance? I think that sort of thing would be called custom. Not a shelf cam from comp or lunati or ai or le. I would hope that being friends with the guy speccing the cams would actually spec me a specific one.
I had a birdie once tell me that duration isn't the only thing a cam changes? That's weird. Cause you make it sound like that's all that happened in this case (other than the weather of course). I guess you're right, You have a lot of posts and a high 11 second car... and SSRRR is in bed with you, so that's something too.
Oh and can you show me where you got the DA on his 227 cam run? I haven't seen it. Not that I don't believe the validity of you saying that (honestly). I just want to see it.
