it has been been done,but not often. Mark Montalvo had built a few (maybe only 2) with a 4" stroke and 1 of them had some troubles staying together if memory serves me correctly.
i believe there is 1 fellow on Cz28.com with a sleeved LT1 with a 4" stroke and 427 cid.
