Question about LT1 heads On a stock LT1 head, is there much room for porting? basically I'm asking what kind of flow numbers can I realistically expect to get from porting? Heads are stock 94 trans am, don't know casting number is that even makes a difference....
Also, on a stock valve spring/height, what size cam can reliably be run? How big can you go on stock springs?

Stock LT1 heads are wonderful for porting. I have a set of AI ported stock castings on my 383. Numbers in sig.

And the only cam you can run on the stock springs is the STOCK cam. Any valvetrain upgrade requires a valve spring change.
