I think you will see 1.5mph with going to front skinnies compared to the 17" rims you have up front. After that, just keep learning to drive the car. I gained 6mph in my SR 396 from the first time I took it to the track just by getting seat time in it. One thing my car responded to was short shifting 1st gear at 6500 (as opposed to 7k) and running out 3rd gear as long as I could before shifting to 4th.

My suggestion from here would be to put a Wolfe chromoly bar in it, buy some front skinnies, and just keep working on driving it. You'll be in the 10s and the mph will probably be 125+. Thats REAL good for a full weight M6 street car
We'll see. I would like to see what this pig will run in cooler air too the way it sits.

Cooler air and more seat time will definitely yield additional improvements in your times. Run it with those approaching -DA's you have coming in the next couple months

It won't be long before you sell the black one to fund it. Drag racing will never be the same after the first track day...

MUCH better 60 ft.

It must feel MUCH better after shaving 3 tenths from the 60 ft.

LS1 air lid and some cold weather would possibly get you a 10 second pass (assuming they let you run again).

I have been going to trackdays and riding in my buddies cars who are instructors for a while now. I have even done a few in rental cars. Also been to a few autoX events.

Yeh the black car will go soon, I am waiting on another deal to finish and thats whats gonna happen.

Thanks. No diet for now. Not even sure I want to put a cage in it since I am more or less a retired track *****. I am satisfied in knowing this engine is making great power. For now I'm more interested in seeing how good this thing will do how it sits.

Thanks, fella. I'm sure I'll hit one up at some point.

Tracked down the photographer.

I'm ashamed to put up a higher resolution picture since the paint is so hideous.

I've never seen a car leave so flat and cut a 1.5 60' Most people with full suspension 6-speeds would kill to cut that kind of 60'.

I am a little disappointed it left so flat. Was hoping for something more aggressive. It looks no different than when I was cutting 1.8 60' times.

Congrats, that is running well!! It almost looks like it was going to pull the front drivers tire in the, "Halloween Test & Tune" track session picture. It leaves flat as a pancake and it should be on its way to a high 10's pass in the cool air
