Default I Think It's Finally Time...

I listed my Formula in the Eastern For Sale section. I haven't driven the damn thing very much the last few years, and I feel bad just letting it sit in the garage. I know it's probably priced kinda high, but if it doesn't sell I won't be that upset either. Here's the link...

https://ls1tech.com/forums/eastern-c...-its-time.html

Thanks for looking everyone...

i wish i had 12 grand! Very nice car! good luck with the sale.

Hope your doing it right and going with a Supercharged E55, they are great cars. Ive drivin quite a bit of them, that engine is STRONG. Prices are about right too now a days, Can get one for the price of a used vette but more practical. Just make sure you get one thats been maintained by a mercedes dealership and your good to go. Used isnt the issue, Just make sure its maintained correctly, parts arnt cheap!

Hahahaha! Yeah, I really think its time to pass the torch to someone who will abuse this thing like John Lingenfelter intended....I used to really be into racing and over the past 3 years or so my girls have gotten involved in more activities and I've devoted more time to my family and working on our house. Just doesn't seem to be enough time in a day to play with cars. Was driving my dad's LPE 383 Corvette a bit ago and I really like the way it goes fast and turns really really well. The vette will probably makes its way into the garage before too long and I'll ditch the small LPE cam and converter and make it nasty...

If the car doesn't sell then we'll see what incarnation appears...Reality is that the economy stinks and apparently I'm asking way too much for a lowly LT1 car...

I'm still gonna try to hit a track before winter for the first time in over two years and try for that elusive 10.90 n/a run...maybe..

Can't say I blame you for wanting a vette though! I can't wait to get one for my DD.

Vettes are over rated!!!!! I sold mine and didnt think twice about keeping the Formy over it. In the end you need to do what you need to do, but def make that trip to the track it might spark and old flame with the car! lol

uh, as far as C6's are concerned, no. You could tell yourself that 100 times in the mirror, and it won't change a thing about them. They are simply bad ***.

Honestly, I do still like the car, and I'm not gonna give it away, period. I realize from unofficial internet research that I may be priced a bit high, but I think it's worth at least that and if one other person feels the same, then we have a deal, if not, I'm not gonna lose sleep over it and just keep it.

I am still gonna try to run it in this great cool air. I'd love to run a 10 something with this weenie cammed heavy street car. Hell, if I could talk my 115 lb wife to hop in she'd probably hit it just by her being 100 lbs lighter than me! Anyway, I'll just see if anyone is interested and go from there...

Alan, I have considered selling my car many times and the price would be more than your asking and this is why I won't sell it. I feel that you have priced your car very fair for a stout reliable combo that wasn't cheap to build.

Good luck on the sale.
Jeff
