What if it is spark knocking. Atleast sounds like it is. Shift points were between 6k and 6.5k just to see how it would react
Shifting at 6 went through the traps at 6

Just do the minor things like everyone says there is a lot of time to be gained on the set up you have. Im running LT's true duals CAI and Tune and running 13.3's with 2.0 60 times on stock suspension just tweaking the little things and you'll get there

no problem man.

Forget about some of these peoples coments man. 2.1 60's from a m6 car on street tires first time out...not shabby.

Least you went to the track!

Im running what some people run stock with a stall, intake, cutout. Ive learned not to base it on internet numbers.

Imho work on the launch first. You can drop that 2.1 60' to 1.7-1.8s and usually for every .1 you drop in 60', it extrapolates to .15 at the other end..roughly if you drop .4 off your 60' you'll drop .6 at the end...12.60s are doable if you work out the first 60'...If it were my car I'd start with DRs and 4.10s...I don't know what wheel size you are running but if you're doin this on the cheap I'd get some cheap stock 16x8s and get the 255 50 R16 M/T DRs which will give you more sidewall than the wider 275 40 R17s. M6s like more sidewall as the launch is a bit more violent than a similarly set up A4. M6s tend to like 4.10s and with two overdrive gears being 5th and 6th, the car still remains plenty streetable. Then look into LCAs, adjustable TA, and PHB...removing or just disconnecting the end links of the front sway bar will help load transfer from front to back also. If money is really an issue go with the DRs first and more seat time. Imho you'll be in the 12s with just DRs and practice.

Once you get the first 60' feet worked out with some suspension and more seat time at the track then I'd do the 1.6s and other stuff that adds power. All the power in the world doesn't matter if you can't get it down the track...And if you are at all confused about the tune from PCMforless just call Bryan Herter on his cell and I'm sure he'd be happy to explain everything to you..He's a pretty nice guy and I'm sure he'd tell ya what he did and what you should expect...Good luck with everything.

You're welcome...Sometimes folks here forget that this is supposed to be a fun hobby. One thing I did leave out is that if you start hooking fairly good on your stock rear it won't last too long. The stock 7.5" ring gear doesn't like hard launches for very long. If you're at all serious about moving ahead with the car you may want to look into a 12 bolt, 9", or S60 rear...Check around and you can find some good ones for sale used...Just another thing to think about...

You couldn't pay me to run moser stuff. Their 12 bolt's have a known problem they refuse to fix and their axles are garbage as well.

Yeah there's not much you can do to make a 7.5" ring gear any stronger. Axle breakage doesn't happen nearly as much as ring/pinon gear breakage. I'd just save my pennies for a rear...You'll have to ask M6 guys which rear they like...I'm a lowly A4 guy...I'm too stupid to shift gears...
