12 second cars dont need slicks by any means. In fact, there are street tires out there that would be suffecient for cars that only go that fast. I ran 12.90's in a camaro SS with Goodyears on it without spinning at all...

yea i missed the whole 12 second car thing i didn't know how fast it was....my fault......in his case id def say go with DR's.....they will be easier to carry down the track and should offer plently of traction for you

radials are proven to be faster period on a great track..in the middle of summer on a track wit **** prep and its 135 degree track temp the slicks will work a lil better..but radials are faster when you go one to the other..most pick up some.

as for the best radial hoosiers..they are sick,then the good yrs followed by the mickeys..i think mickey is about to swap compounds for them though and try and get infront of the pack again...as for wear the mickeys will get you 80-100 passes while the hoosier will get you around 60 or so.

Larry from Speedinc just went back to MTs over the Hoosiers and I believe is having better luck with them, While Badhawk is having better luck with the Hoosiers over MTs. The only thing I dont like about the Hoosier DRs is they have 0 tread for a street car.
