Default Anyone have these??

3.5" collectors, haven't heard of that. Price isn't too bad either, and their stainless. But would 3.5" collectors hang way down?? My car is pretty low

Hmm well I thought it was worth a shot.

BTW anyone with ebay headers can you PM where you got them from and the measurements of the primarys? I'm looking for a 1 3/4-1 7/8 stepped like the LPPs, but I'll probably end up getting the LPPs anyway

those actually look pretty nice... no offense but I'd guess the 3.5in collectors would hang roughly a half-inch lower than 3's.... give or take

you'd have to search but I remember a pretty recent thread about some ebay headers that a member purchased that were stepped the size you're looking for... I dont remember the seller but they were the ap1ap2 stainless ones. He loved them

LOL I got ya man, I know that on my car the passengers side can tuck up quite a bit farther, but the drivers side already hits on the floor. And hanging down another 1/2 an inch isn't really going to work for me, I already hit my headers once in a while.

Thanks for the name, I was looking last night and am probably going to pull the trigger on something in a few weeks, just have to make up my mind

Those are real nice! I don't think I would gain anything over typical Jet Hots though.

unless i am thinking about this wrong, theoretically wouldn't they only hang down a 1/4 inch due to 1/2 of the 1/2 in increase in size being above the center-line of the collector? that is if the collector center-line remains in the same place.

Thats what I thought too, but my drivers side collector is almost on my floor pan, so that side would hang down 1/2" farther.

I'm going to be changing my exhaust out for a set of 3" duals so I don't think a 3.5" collector is really necessary but I figured it was worth posting, they look pretty good

I think the E-bay stepped headers people had were 1 5/8 stepped to 1 3/4.

Thats what I thought. I emailed a couple of the companies and I could have swore that one of them even said that they were 1 1/2 stepped to 1 5/8. If thats the case those would just be horrible LOL

I'm looking for a set thats stepped 1 3/4 to 1 7/8" to replace my 1 3/4" hookers. I guess I'll see what happens, I'd like to get the LPPs. I guess I'll see what my money situation looks like this winter

Ive been looking at these too, they look very similar to the old flp headers but one tube is moved on one of the headers. Ive been looking for a decent stainless header but Kooks are way out of my reach.

I was hoping at least someone tried these by this point in time, but maybe were not that lucky

I've got 3.5" collectors on my Hedman headers, and they dont hang down THAT low. I haven't scrapped them or anything like that and my car is lowered an 1" or so.

Pics?? Heres mine with my hookers and about a 2" drop, after I got my car aligned it raised it up about 1/2"

Yeah I know its low and I have only scraped them a handful of times in 2 years But if the 3.5" collectors don't hang down any lower than these I may just get them
