debating on stall company...
I've narrowed it down to edge or yank. Anybody WITH EXPERIENCE able to tell me which one would be better top end?
I've got a 3200 performabuilt now, but I think I'm leaving a lot on the table, one because I should be closer to 4k, and two because it was never set up for my car, just a generic 3200 build that I got with my tranny.

From my experience with Coan they seem to build their 10" max perf converters specific to a person's setup. In fact they recommend getting dyno numbers to base a converter build from, or at the very least a detailed spec list of the engine, car/chassis, and intended purpose. Give those guys a call and talk to them. I had great cs and response the few times I contacted them before making a decision. My converter was build in 2 days and shipped.

Before I get flamed for using a TCI, I didn't know they were such junk when I got it. I ended up breaking it. I cracked the weld around the pump drive almost all the way around.
I bought an FTI 4400 when I was A4, never used it though.
If your setup is nothing crazy you would probably be best suited buying an "off the shelf" converter from Yank, Vig etc. You dont need anything fancy.
A good converter is ~$700 eh.
