Lswho stfu. Its a standard non-viper build... not that hard to figure out

Wicked. Street, drag, road race.. needs to be pretty tough. Do you mean viper main shaft, or input, output, ?

I know ill need a street twin or similar as well.

Although stock output shafts are NOT known as a common failure I snapped one like a twig. If I ever build mine again It will get the Viper output.

Viper mainshaft. That powerlevel, especially trying to road race it (!!!!) you're going to be generating ALOT of heat in the trans. You'll probably need to add an oil pump + direct oiling to it as to not starve the gears during long highway/straightaway pulls. The gearset is a weakness at that powerlevel too. How deep are your pockets?

**** that t56, throw the th350 in it

Seriously I weighed my options, and even after throwing 2k into a T56 there's no guarantees. That's why i ditched it, I don't have the money to repair stuff like that, I'd rather build it and freshen every few years.

Deep enough but I won't keep throwing money at it either if it won't live.

Road racing will only be 3-4 times per year and I plan to neuter the tune as much as possible so I don't kill myself. The motor makes 800+ fwhp N/A but with the elevation and a super mild tune I can probably get that down to 550ish at the tires

Very proud indeed! No such thing as too much cam. Just not enough head, rpm, cubes, gear, converter, and weight reduction.

I would like to know this also. I have grenaded 3 of them. First one lost 2nd gear, Second one lost 4th gear, the one I have now the 3-4 synchro is messed up. I am hard on my car, but with EVERY shift the clutch is always pressed in fully, and my car doesn't make that much power. I thought the T56 was supposed to be fairly strong?

I believe it's 96+ that have a improved 2nd gear the earlier ones had a weaker on. A lot of companies are now doing SSR output shafts and main shafts since they are stronger then the viper ones.

Spend the money for a Tranzilla (1200hp & 1100tq) or the son of tranzilla (900hp & 700tq).

You're joking right? Do you know how much those cost? You can have one built for the same power rating from any of the sponsors for less then half of those.

Obviously you should run a stock T5 out of a third gen.
