sounds like a small torque friendly cam. 106 LSA seems odd... now that I look again, you have separation as 111? and at 106?

If you're sure you're going to do heads, wait until then to select a cam.

Yes those are almost conflicting specs on the lob separation angle - I'd believe a 111 LSA over a 106 - 106 would be a HUGE overlap wouldn't it? Even a 111 LSA would make that cam pretty ballsy.

Besides the 111 LSA (if it is), aren't those specs close to a Hot Cam's? (w/ a 1.6 the lift would probably be close to .525; duration seems close). If I remember correctly the hot cam has a 112 LSA.

Stock heads - I'd say dump a GM 847 cam in that things and rev the **** out of her!!!

I say custom grind. I was going to go with a GM 847 initially, but i liked what LE specd me instead.

On the card it has 111 next to 'separation' and 106 next to 'angle separation intake lobe...' Then the bottom of the card and I can't see the rest of the sentence

with 1.6rr it would be .544/.544. That LSA is kind of funky, i beleive that just changes your power curve or peak power to a lower rpm? some people say 50-100rpm for every 1 LSA? like 112 could peak at 6200 and 110 could peak at 6100/6000 depending how you think of it.

I could be wrong, im still learning. I just know 106Lsa will hurt your vaccum.

again, its not for me. basically, I was handed a card and asked what I thought of it... I compared it to the cams in the sticky and told him it looked like a hot cam with a nasty idle

It's ground on a 111 lsa with 5 degrees of advance ground in. So dot to dot its advanced 5 degrees, most shelf cams are advanced around 4 degrees iirc, it helps boost the low end but the cam runs out of steam faster.
