Not to thread jack but I have a question along the same line. Spun a bearing in my 96 and bought a early 94 short block to replace it. Swapped all my 96s timing cover timing chain crank key for the reluctor wheel etc but when I put the hub in it leaks. Replaced the seal twice now and still leaks. Is it possible I need a pre 96 hub for the 94 crank?

as long as its a camaro hub it should work. I had an impala one once and put it on a camaro engine and the pullies wouldnt line up. I had to put the camaro hub back on.

I'll bet its the water pump drive seal leaking.....unless your hub has a groove in it that is causing the seal to fail

I'll vouch for the Jegs hub, it is a very nice piece!
