Do you gain anything from deleting power steering besides a little weight reduction? Any significant HP gain? How bad is it driving with big tires and no power steering? I'll have 255/40/17 up front on a 9.5" rim, so not the biggest but still.


Is it as simple as just deleting the pump, or do I have to worry about converting the rack and other stuff?
This sucks to hear. What relocation kit do you have?

I've got the 400$ Speed Inc kit. Speed is/was having problems with the kits left and right. They switched machine shops to Raptor Tech, and are fixing all the problems. Paul with Raptor is a great guy, great customer service. Speed Inc I can't say the same for.

Wrong hardware and spacers got sent, bad bracket, then found out the bracket hits the front swaybar so I have to run swaybar spacers, then the tranny lines hit the alternator in it's new location so I had to run braided lines, then the kit is chewing up belts left and right.

All this and Speed Inc won't do anything. No money back, nothing. I even bought the braided lines from them for the tranny. They offered me "cost" on any item in the shop, but their cost is bullshit. For example the AEM wideband they sell they charge 260$ for. Their "cost" was like 240$ ? I went online and found one for 160$ brand new. Their customer service blows.

Young camaro yes you can keep your ps as well. You have to do a kitten fab work to the factory accessory bracket to make it work. I have a write up in my pm box from sending it to other people. If you are interested just let me know.

Yup, you just put the alternator where the AC goes. and you put a pulley at the top mount for the alternator.
