I'm still gathering pieces for my setup(embarrassingly over the last 3-4 years!). I went with Nitrous Outlet, their customer service is top notch. You can't go wrong with the LT1 specific kit for what you want to do. Everything is included for a clean install.

Also are you going to use a bottle heater or NANO?

See that's what I don't get I saw they had a bottle heater as an added extra, but here is what I don't get they also have an intercooler for it. I need to do some homework.
nitrous is definitely the route I'm going. Should I build my bottom end? Currently has 80,250 miles no leaks or problems.

I added a lot to it like a Nano and stand alone fuel system etc. etc. I never dynoed it on spray, but NA it made 413rwhp so Id say about 560 or so on the 150shot and could up the jets easy.

I also have forged pistons and ARP hardware in the short block, but a lot of people spray 100-150 on stock short blocks, just make sure your tune is good

WOW that's a real clean EVERYTHING!!!!!!! I just did a lot of reading on nitrous setups . How does someone avoid nitrous backfire? How much did it cost to build your motor for nitrous?
My budget is only 4grand and ill wait if that's not enough I want it done once.
And right. You've been a lot of help

Thanks, I try and keep it that way.

4k is not enough to do it right and from scratch, but if you buy used stuff its possible. I would just spray the bottom end and rebuild it when it blows up. Put the money into the top end and nitrous system.
As far as nitrous backfires, a quality system, window switch, tune, plugs and only spraying it at WOT above 3k is about the best you can do.

Most people like to have forged internals.

Forged pistons, good hardware, some scat or eagle forged I beams and a stock crank is a good start for a cheap build 350, prob dont need the rods until 500+hp or so.

A fully forged motor is the only way to go if you build a stroker motor.

So since you guys are on this topic maybe you all can give me idea what my engine can handle. I have a 383 with a 2 bolt main all forged internals the rings have been gapped for nitrous, and arp hardware. NA the car dynoed 413 rwhp. I bought a nitrous outlet Plate wet kit with all the safety stuff.my question is what size shot you all think safely my engine can handle?
