good luck with ur build and send me a PM when u get it fired if u want I'd like to see it

Will do

Thanks for the props on the Pala. Yes, alot of people are waiting to see this new AI combo and bottom run. 20-25 rwhp by stepping up to the 1 7/8" to 3.5 header is incredible. Especially when you are already maxed out with your combo. This is definitely now on my list. I will definitely shoot you a PM when this Sled fires back up?

I can't wait

Great documentation; I'm excited to see how it does.
It looks like you took the time to research the project and to assemble it properly.
That intake looks awesome.

How big is this HR cam?

Also, what kind of MPG are you expecting?

Default Update 3-20-11

Well with the help of a few buddies and my dad we got ALOT done this weekend. Got the motor finished up......all the parts cleaned up......the bay painted and cleared......the motor in the car and i got started on the wiring and got the under dash relay center compelete........

next i gotta do the brake lines.....finish the wiring......do some basic assembley tie in my exhaust and fire it up!!! hoping for next sunday.....

heres some pics.....

friday night we taped the car up nice nice........nobody like spray dust on a new paint job....

found it kinda funny it looked just like a beer bottle lol

so sat morning i layed a layer of primer/sealer on the bare metal/bondo....

then painted and cleared it......turned the heat up to 75 and let it bake....

the paint came out unbeleivable!!!

this morning i got the motor out and mounted up the flexplate........now this was a first.....ususally when u order a "neutral balance" flex plate from a manufacturer they are within -+3 grams.........we checked mine on the machine and it came up to 0.0g right from TCI.......we checked it three times cause we didn't beleive it lol.......hopefully a sign of good luck to come

next we mounted up the engine to the trans with the new 5300 vigilante converter and the CSR composite blow sheild.......

then cleaned the k member and installed the motor and trans on it....

next simply rolled it under the car and lowered the car down on it.......bolted up the k member and strut towers and thats it.....its a roller again!!!

now all that has to go in the car......hmmm i wonder where that went again??? lol

next i mounted up all the relays and terminal blocks to the lexan for under the dash.......

i couldn't help but put a few things on under the hood........cant wait to see it all done.......

the dizzy all jammed back in its new home lol...

and the trigger and speed inc alt bracket and gz vac pump with my new brackets...

more tomorrow night!!!!

Dude that looks Badass! the freshley painted bay looks awesome. Is there enough room to get the distributor out? Doesn't look like it, thought i'd ask as I'm gonna be going that route in a little bit.

Mike, once again that engine bay looks sick..IT looks brand new and everything is coming together nicely. ALso what are the junction blocks and relays for?
Are you still using the stock relay boxes?
