Default CAI Question

Is there a way to get more air into the CAI from the bottom of the 93 or would I need a whole new front end or something radical? There isnt much air coming in from the front I think because of the fog light and the front end style, and I think the CAI is getting the air from behind with the flood box protector thing lol i was thinking of cutting it off but..obviously if it floods, this cars height isn't gonna help and i dont wanna get screwed that way. so i was wondering if anyone did anything to there's to help with the air...

It really doesn't give to much of a gain(like 2 or 3hp) but with how easy it is to do and the fact that it take like 15 mins and its free it wouldn't hurt.

I did that and from what I can tell so far the throttle response is far above what it was. and seems to pull down low a lot better.
