The op definitely wants to get to 50 posts lol.

I don't know what's worse. How desperate for the 50 he is, or his English.

Sadly, I have nothing to sell. I'm new to the GM scene. So no extra parts coming out of me anytime soon. LOL

I'm just telling it like I see it.

I'm browsing the hell out of everything to learn a little. I'm a mustang guy turned GM so going from Modular to this ( even though I had an 88 GT 5.0) I'm learning what are the best mod per mod setups there are. Funny thing is, I'm not the only one who has called him out on this since he has joined. Although not going to lie, my fiancee started night classes this week and I'm bored out of my mind. So why not post a little? Lmao

I wouldn't start a thread about the whole mod thing either a lot of people around here like to tell you to look for a search and not help to much.......Me not being one of them guys I love helping someone new into the LT1 even though i'm fairly new myself but you should enjoy the LT1 platform

IMO its a waste of time and money to try to make power out of a 200k mile stock lt1 bottom end. u might as well start fresh.

If your gonna run LE heads then just run one of his custom cams...Really can't go wrong with him!

OP if you are forging your bottom end including the crank it makes no sense to build a 355. The 383 will be a few hundred more but even if you use the same topend/cam you would on your 355 build your power and torque will increase everywhere else

yeah i hitman i realized that...i just might not forge the crank cause they are exspensive...my goal is to find a block with all work machine work done..or short blockand im lookin at a 355 short block now....if i get a 355 machined block ill go 355 if i get a 383 stroker cleared block ill go with that...or clear the 355 down the road...so many things i could do lol

Forged cranks aren't that expensive. My Ohio crank was around $400 and I'm beating the snot out of it.

And it sounds like you've got a severe case of noobie engine builders ADD - you can't figure out what you want and you're easily distracted by other options.
