Cool it man. Why comment at all if that's how you feel? Just move on to a thread where mechanic geniouses are discussing topics you've never read about before. There must be plenty of those over at ltxtech.com, instead of reading posts from us dumb lazy ******* in here. Again, **** a search.

OP: sorry I even commented in here, didn't mean to cloud your thread with this garbage. This will be my last post in here unless it's related to the original topic. I think you're getting some good advice from the guys in here trying to help. Good luck with it.

been looking around online and i cant seem to put my finger on which gears would be appropriate... 355 373 or 390. 410s ive read are fun for a while but arent really good for daily drving.

On a side note, I put down 309 rwhp on a 7 year old mail order bolt-on tune with shorty headers and run 12.8x et @ 3900#. Your best bet would be to up grade to a Yank SS 3600 converter and duals with an X pipe. You should be in the 340 rwhp range with the Hot cam and capable of low to mid 12's running a 3:42 or 3:73 gear.

410s are cool for M6s. For an A4 I'd personally stay 373 for a DD. 410s turn a lot of Rs on the highway. I'm still trying to decide on a stall but I think I'm going to go with a 3200 personally. My car is going to be slightly modded with bolt ons a baby cam close to the crane 227 and a 125 shot. On 323s I'm hoping for mid 12s at Bandimere up here at 6000 ft.

No, you just have to buy the right series gears. If you have 3.23s now, then you have a 3 series carrier and you buy 3 series gears. If you have 2.73s now, then you have a 2 series carrier and you buy 2 series gears. I don't know from experience, but I wouldn't go more than 3.73 with the auto, as mentioned above. That seems to be agreed by the majority on here.

no. You can buy 373 gears and install. I hate doing it though.
