I run the baer set up with abs delete and wilwood prop valve. It stops hard enough to leave a seat belt mark on your chest. Never once faded. Couldn't be happier with the set up but it is very expensive.

Having good brakes for ONE stop or even a SCCA solo event is nothing compared to having good brakes in a 30 minute HPDE session on a real road course with a 300rwhp 3700lb car.

The right brake pads, brake fluid and cooling ducts are your friends.
