weird. yeah my first thing i did to my car suspension wise was the LCA's and subframes and my wheel hop went away at the track. i later on bought the relocation brackets but really didnt notice anything. the torque arm helped lower my 60ft by a little. gave me consistant low 1.8's where before i could almost get away with a high 1.9. so idk....

i think some of these answers are comical. i think the best part would be best answered if there was actually a problem in the first place.. i have gone from no mods to all of them. if you have an issue get the part that addresses that issue the best. my trans am needed absolutely no rear suspension mods at all to dead hook with street tires. it was lowered when i bought it and didn't hook for ****.. i swapped the rear springs with a set from an 87 iroc and did the front with ebay $50 ls1 ws6 springs and monroe struts. when i put LCA relocation brackets it would no longer hook the same. the car has excellent weight transfer. it also drove and handled fine.

What SFC's would you use on a vert? I have two verts ('98 and '99) and no SFC's. The choices are limited (no three point SFC's). There is a thread on this subject (problem) over in the convertible section. But, no answers

i built my own, not hard if you have a welder.

find a local fabricator and see if they could make you some. sfc's are almost pure profit. cost about $20-30 in material

Most vendors manufacture convertible-specific SFCs, like UMI. They're a good design too.

Another adding that stock susp hooks pretty good. With ET Streets I pull 1.57 and 1.6's all stock susp.

I'd run some weld-in SFCs (BMR or UMI) they both make them. Easily one of the best modifications you can do to a vert, you will notice a difference the moment you torque the frame(like a steep driveway). The next two things I would do is LCAs and a tunnel mount torque arm if you want to hook right.

I've done everything except upgrade the rear swaybar of all the modifications those 3 were the most noticeable.

Are the non-three point (BMR or UMI) weld-in SFC'c OK? There is a lot of talk on the vert forum about trying to get a company to make three point SFC's for verts...
Which LCA's and TMTA's do you recommend?

BMR and UMI have everything you will need, I just ran weld in SFC's that had 3 or four tabs that are attached to the unibody. As far as one brand I can't say, cause I have a mix of Strange, Spohn, UMI, BMR, and Granitelli.

This isnt my car but i have the same set up in mine and the connectors mounted to the tunnel mounted torque arm made a huge difference. I have all spohn stuff in my car. They have del-sphere joints in them and i really think they help more then poly bushings. Their not as noisy as the poly bushings. The only thing is that cross member hangs very very low.
