There are a lot of good pieces out there to choose from.

Subframe connectors keep the car slid and help with weight transfer.

Strano makes some sway bars that both increase handling capabilities, as well as cut down on weight (obviously good for any kind of performance).

Also depends on your power level and other mods. Lower Control arms (LCA's) and relocation brackets help cut down on wheel hop/traction loss and improve 60 foot times.

Also, springs and shocks can really help stiffen up the car. Many people say this is the most worth while suspension mod, but it's also the most expensive usually.

For some first mods i would look into Subframe Connectors, thats my next project. I would look into a decent shock and spring upgrade, and a set of tires.

Frame connectors would be the first thing I would do. But, I will say that LCA brackets and a set of coil overs gave me the best gains.

i built a full suspension for my car and the lca relocation brackets and torque arm gave me the most noticeable difference. for the torque arm do a tunnel mount, really cuts down on squat and pushes the car straight instead of down

i still have the stock rear sway bar, but i'm working on upgrading that, not sure what kind of gains that will give you, i know my stock one was loose and i tightened it and it made a huge difference

sfc's got rid of some vibrations and stiffened the car up a little bit

Tires. Hands down. After that, torque arm.

Funny thing is, nobody is wrong here. Hardly any suspension piece is a "waste of money"

Honestly, I forgot the mention tires, but they are the most important thing IMO. You can't go anywhere if you don't hook up!

Also, a lot of people hate on the strut tower brace. Not sure why, my buddy's '94 had shot bald *** tires on the front, when we put the strut tower brace on, it felt like he had new tires. Really sturdied up the front of the car...doesnt do much for drag racing though

SFC made the feel of my t top car feel 1000 times better. Its hard to describe the improvement unless you've done it.

i made my torque arm with poly bushings. rides fine. if you hit a bump it makes a little bit of noise but i would say it's 100% streetable

tires are also important like everyone said. not really sure tires fall under "suspension" tho? maybe i'm wrong.. lol

I agree 100% I would say my most noticeable difference were my chassis mounted torque arm and my relocation brackets...the brackets got rid of all my wheel hop. The setup I run is the bmr crossmember that is welded into the subframe connectors. Torque arms are streetable but one word of caution...if your rear makes any noise a chassis mounted torque arm will be a stethoscope and amplify that noise 10x

definitely go tunnel mount. takes the stress off the transmission and shortens the length of the arm

never thought about the rear end noise amplification, my rear doesn't make any noise so i guess i'm lucky lol

Air bags help too - 10 lbs on the driver's side and 15 on the pass - old-school drag racing modification; cheap and it works.

Its hard to say which is the best bang for the buck since all the components compliment eachother in one way or the other. If you got wheel hop issues during launch some rear Lower control arms will solve that. if you want to stiffen the car up subframes help a ton. torque arm if you want more consistant harder lauches.

knock out one thing at a time.
