Also thinking about cutting the heads down some. Right now I am running an 11:1 flat top with -5cc reliefs and the impala PN head gaskets. The block has not been decked.

Think I should cut the heads down to 52cc's?

Just looks like a gasket match and a polish to me. Not trying to rain on your parade, but its doubtful that you will gain much from that. Lots of volume to be had around the valveguide, pushrod turn,and removing some of the port bias in the roof.

Not trying to be a ***** here, but why would the porter polish the ports if he was just going to go back in it with a carbide again. Thats normally the final phase of porting.

Not bad man. With the port job and the larger valves, Id think there would be a gain to be had.

With those valves, your going to have to cut the valve seat, for those size valves won't you? Just curious.

Keep it up! Any other new mods on your car over the winter?
