I was, but the setup was going to run me around 700 after selling my GMMG where as this will run me a little over 300. Plus I can take the rear off when I go to the track. I'm hoping this gets the noise level down where I want it. If I need to tone it down more ill add 2 Magnaflow bullets before the tips.

Why not just run TDs to the CME tips?

Those mufflers in that post are about 1 inch off the ground. You can tell by how low they hang under the rear end. That sucks, no 2 ways about it. The problem is there is no room under the car to get the mufflers any higher unless you cut the floor. you'd be much smarter to run the pipe under the axle and then put the mufflers back there where you can hang them higher.

There will be BFHing under the backseat. The guy I'm taking it to has done 3 inch mandrel bent over the axle with no panhard relocation, so he knows how to tuck exhaust up

Yeah, I get what you are saying, but what is the dimension on the Borlas? I personally have done exactly what you are wanting to do. I have a thread on my car where I ended up notching the floor out. The only reason I would do such a thing is bc you cannot tuck them high enough. I tried the BFH, the muffler was like 1 1/2 inches off the ground. That is idiotic. So I sliced the car and got it 5-6 inches off the ground. Which is still lower then I would like but oh well. Im getting ready to change it again and the floor plan slice is going to be very nice bc Im mounting a 4 inch cut-out there. My muffler was a 4 inch in/out with a total height of 5 inches. What are the Borlas?

They are 14x9x4.5 I believe. If he has to cut the floorpan so be it.

I would already commit to doing this, the install will be so much better IMO. I was able to keep a stock like interior appearance.
