No. The ad doesn't say they are Cranes, they just look similar.

They are a nice piece, haven't touched them 3 years. I like them better than the Promags.

Back in the day my pro-forms were great after 40,000 hard high rpm miles they started to show some wobble around the bearing. This caused my pro-form rocker body to wear out against the rocker stud on about 4 or 5 of them. I moved to comps then traded them off to a friend.

I really really like my Jegs 1.6 roller rockers, they have very high quality machine work and a much bigger bearing setup on the pivot points. Also the roller tip has a oil provision hole that my other cheaper rockers did not.

I had Proforms, sold them for half what I paid after less than 1000 miles.

+1 for CC Magnums. Zero complaints, Zero problems...

Did the proforms give you trouble, or did you swap them for Comps just for the peace of mind?

i've been running these for a while...i really like them, they're a little noisy, but not too bad at all and they seem to have REALLY woken the motor up. I had a set of proforms, and the jumped a little on me and ruined one or two of the rockers, so i sold them.

I have a set of CAT brand 1.6:1 roller tipped rocker arms. They are cast like Comp Cams' Magnum rockers. They are self aligning, but instead of using the little washers besides the roller tip...they use a little "teeth" hanging down beside it....cast into the rocker body....which is the way Comp Cams does it on their Magnum rockers for Fords that I have seen. What difference this would make, IDK.

Anyway, I bought these for an L98 but never got around to using them. Now I have them still, but I'm kind of hesitant to put them on. Even after owning them several years I haven't heard any feedback - good or bad.

Thats not much better. When it comes to rockers you do not want to skimp! Some eBay brand rockers will not last long or who knows what else will fail. Do it once, do it right.

I was thinking highly of these until I read this:
"THE MANUFACTURE HAS RECOMMENDED THAT THESE SHOULD BE CLEANED IN A PARTS WASHER BEFORE USE. THIS IS GOOD PRACTICE FOR ANY ROLLER ROCKERS, BUT ANY AMOUNT OF STAINLESS DUST OR PARTICLES LEFT OVER FROM THE MACHINING PROCESS WOULD BE MORE HARMFUL COMPARED TO ALUMINUM ROCKERS. WE CLEAN ANY AND ALL PARTS BEFORE THEY GO INTO AN ENGINE AT OUR SHOP. IF YOU COULD SEE HOW MUCH METALLIC SILT COMES OFF NEW INTERNAL ENGINE PARTS, YOU WOULD QUICKLY UNDERSTAND."
That sent the warning flag up. No competent company would assemble them without cleaning the parts FIRST!

Check out these Jeg's rockers http://www.jegs.com/i/JEGS+Performan...20108/10002/-1 Im telling you guys these turned out to be really great roller rockers for the cash, and very nice machine work on them. Do any other brand have a oiling hole behind the roller tip like these jegs?

..phhss a general disclaimer.. most brand name parts Like the comp lifters and magnums i bought brand new for my LS1 came outta the package a little dirtier than i would like to have just thrown in my motor..AND At a hundred dollars less! than the closest competitor ...i believe i would clean them pre assembly myself..just like any part I've too have ever installed ...just like the crane golds i just installed...clean em and oil them. ...not a deal breaker IMO ...
